RSpace ELN is in use at university laboratories from the Australia to the U.S. Users have commented on its usability and its customizability, while institutions are most attracted to its ability to securely archive proprietary information for potential future development into patented products. Principle Investigators who serve as lab managers are able to set access permissions within the RSPace ELN, give feedback, and supervise the research activities of as many technicians as they wish. Sharing data with other RSpace ELN users and non-users is easy and intuitive, within parameters established by the PI and the university.
